Affiliate Agreement

The agreement between you and tikklip if you join the affiliate program. It sits alongside our Terms of Service, not in place of them.

Effective 2026-07-10

Joining the affiliate program means you agree to this document, in addition to our regular Terms of Service. If the two ever conflict on a point this document does not cover, the Terms of Service govern; on anything about referrals, commission, or payout, this document governs.

What you earn

You earn 40% of the net revenue we collect from anyone who creates an account within 30 days of clicking your referral link and then subscribes to a commissionable plan. There is no time limit between their signup and their first purchase — someone who signs up free and upgrades months later still earns you a commission, as long as the click happened within the window above. That commission runs for the life of that subscription, for as long as it stays continuously active. Only the first subscription an account starts earns one; a lapsed subscription that is later restarted is a new subscription and is not re-attributed to you. Whether an invoice earns commission is checked on that invoice, not only once at signup: if the customer downgrades below a commissionable plan, commission on their invoices stops from that point, with no separate notice.

Holdback and payout

A commission sits for 30 days before it can be paid, because that is how long the card behind the invoice that generated it can still be disputed. Commission on an annual invoice is not paid as one lump sum — it is released in 12 monthly installments instead, for the same reason. We pay out once your balance reaches $50.00; below that, it rolls over to the next payout rather than being paid in fractions. Your first payout is reviewed by a person before it is sent; after that, payouts run on the normal schedule. We may also hold an individual commission pending review if something about it looks like abuse — a hold delays a payout, it does not cancel it.

Refunds and chargebacks

Paid commission is reclaimed in exactly one circumstance: the payment that earned it is refunded, or disputed as a chargeback. When that happens, any commission already paid or accrued on that invoice is deducted from your next payout — or, if that would take your balance negative, carried forward against commissions you earn later. We do not reclaim commission for any other reason, and never against a different payment than the one that earned it. This is not proportional to the amount refunded: a refund of any size, including a small partial refund, reverses the entire commission on that invoice, not just a share matching what was refunded.

Rules

These are the conditions of staying in the program. Breaching any of them is grounds for suspension or termination, and forfeits commission as described below.

  • Do not bid on our brand terms in paid search — “tikklip”, its misspellings, or the brand plus a modifier.
  • Do not place links on coupon, deal, or voucher sites.
  • Do not point paid advertising directly at tikklip.com. Send traffic to your own content first.
  • Do not refer yourself, or accounts you own or control.
  • Do not send unsolicited bulk email. Complying with CAN-SPAM and equivalent law is yours, not ours.
  • Do not imply you are tikklip. No lookalike domains, email addresses, or social accounts.
  • Do not make claims about the product beyond the copy we provide. If you want to say something we have not said, ask first.

Breach

Breaching a rule above, or this agreement generally, forfeits any commission not yet paid out, in addition to any other remedy available to us. We may suspend or terminate your affiliate account for it, and we will tell you why.

Changes to this agreement

We may change the commission rate or the rules above at any time. A rate change applies to future referrals only — a referral you already made keeps the rate it was made under.

Your privacy, and theirs

We never disclose who you referred. Your affiliate dashboard shows aggregate figures only — how many people you referred, on what plans, and what you are owed — never a name, an email address, or anything else that identifies them.

Version

This is version 2026-09-13 of the affiliate agreement. We record the version you accepted when you join the program. A later version does not retroactively bind you — you keep the terms you agreed to until you accept a new version.
